Cancer Prevention Research
Our cancer prevention research focuses primarily on reducing exposure to tobacco and nicotine products-major preventable contributors to cancer morbidity and mortality. Through clinical trials, behavioural interventions, implementation research, and population-level initiatives, we evaluate approaches that help individuals quit smoking and vaping and support the integration of evidence-based prevention into routine care.
Our work spans diverse populations and healthcare settings, with an emphasis on developing practical, scalable interventions that can improve long-term health outcomes.
